Killarney National Park & Gardens – Be sure to visit Muckross House, Ross Castle and Torc Waterfall. Horse Drawn Carriage, Lake Cruise, Bicycle, Kayak or By Foot, – the ways to see this magical park located close to our hotel are endless.

Take a Trip on the Ring Of Kerry – to see the highlights of our county take the well-travelled trail known as the Ring of Kerry. We can arrange a coach tour for you or hire a car for the day.

The traditional way to tour all the local ‘beauty spots’ is by Jaunting Car (unique horse drawn carriage) in the company of a ‘Jarvey’ (driver & guide) who will spin the ‘old stories’ at every corner on the road. Tours include The Lakes, Ross Castle, Muckross House & Gardens & Torc Waterfall.

Take in a Show at Ireland’s National Events Centre (INEC) – located less than 1km from us, is the INEC which plays host to national and international shows, performers, comedians, musical, sporting events and much more.

Walking, Hiking, Climbing, Biking & Horseriding – Make your own way or join one of the many guided experiences. If you are feeling up to the challenge why not take on Ireland’s highest peak Carrauntoohil (1038m)

The Gap of Dunloe tour is approximately 7 hours in duration. The day begins with a coach ride to Kate Kearney’s Cottage, then travel through the 7 mile (11.2km) Gap of Dunloe mountain pass on horse drawn trap or on foot to Lord Brandon’s Cottage on the shore of the Upper Lake.

Muckross House & Gardens – One of Ireland’s most popular visitor attractions, this magnificent Victorian mansion was built in 1843 and forms the centrepiece of the equally renowned Killarney National Park. The house was built in the Tudor Style and had a total of sixty-five rooms. Extensive improvements were undertaken in the preparation for the visit of Queen Victoria in 1861.

Boat Trip, Innisfallen & Dinis Cottage – No visit to Killarney is complete without taking a boat trip on its famous lakes. Make sure to add Innisfallen Island to your ‘to do list’ and its monastic ruins which date back to the 11th Century. Dinis Cottage is located at two of Killarney’s beauty spots – The meeting of the waters and the Old Weir Bridge. Formally a hunting lodge, Dinis Cottage dates back to the 1700’s and is located on the shore of Muckross Lake.

Ross Castle & Ross Island – Original home of the O’Donoghue Ross Chieftans in the 15th Century, Ross Castle has been magnificently restored to its former glory. Standing on the shore of Lough Leane, the castle is located on Ross Island. Its human habitation history goes back some 9,000 years with one of Europe’s earliest Bronze Age Copper Mines dating back 4,500 years ago.

Climb Ireland’s Highest Mountain – There a number of routes up Carrauntoohill – two best known are the Coomloughra Horseshoe and the tough MacGillacuddy Reekridge trail. Make your own way or join experienced guided tours and climb Ireland’s highest mountain range. If climbing isn’t your thing, there are many walking, biking and horseriding guided tours that one can choose from.

Killarney Town – located 5 minutes walking distance from the town centre, there is so much to do and see in this vibrant town. With its boutique shops, traditional pubs, as well as a wide range of cafes and restaurants, there is something for everyone in Killarney.

Killarney Brewing Company – Situated on the Muckross Road in Killarney, the Brewery specialises in the production of Craft Beers which are preservative and additive free, made with finest ingredients to ensure premium quality. Brewery tours are available daily where visitors will get a chance to see the Brewery and see an introductory video about the process and after sample some the brewery’s fine Beer.
